Had a loco this week, much better then the last time. Get a side of mac to make it across the finish line.

Judy I think is the host . She was great . Friendly patient . Ordered omelet to go. With sour dough bread. Great service great food

This place get get really busy mainly because it's the only place to eat in the hotel. Service is always quick and pleasant. Friday night ox tail stew is always a good choice. I love the short ribs a bit on the sweet side but so tender. Very busy loud diner vibe. They still don't do take outs but will give you a container to go if you don't finish so order take a bite ask for a to go container and there you go. I think if the allowed take out the line wouldn't be so long.

My favorite place for late night dinner. I live nearby and found this place 2 ys ago with my friends. I love their ox tail soup before from 9 to closed but they changed to 11..... :( too late for me so I changed to prime rib dinner which was so good too. Highly recommend

I've been coming to Market Street Cafe for years and it always hits. But... bring back the salad bar!! In my opinion, the best deal is the prime rib dinner that's served from 4-10 p.m. It comes with your choice of soup or salad, prime rib with your choice of potato and seasonal veggies, and DESSERT. I'm not a fan of cherry jubilee but the waitress was kind enough to sub it with chocolate syrup. Definitely has a local Hawaiian vibe to the restaurant. The menu has a wide variety of food and it's a perf place for a family dinner. Love it. Check it out!

Enjoyed coming over to Market Street Cafe known for its Island Fare Located in the California Casino this place is known by Islanders for the authentic meals. With that being said we had to order their famous Oxtail Soup - it lived up to the hype Loved it Came back for breakfast - ordered up eggs with Portuguese sausage, pretty basic the sausage was tasty but the amount of sausage was limited - wish there would have been more than a half a sliced sausage but it did the job. Coffee was excellent - prices are very good compared to other spots Service is very good - if you like Oxtail you have to check this place out Cheers

The 24HR place we crush the hangry... Gosh loved how it's all still the same the coconut tree notation to the items covered by our coupons, we came here just as we arrived since we have an early morning start and didn't want to fight the crowd. The vibe here is nice and relaxing regardless of the constant flow of guests and the menu that has many local favorites like ZIPPY'S Chili, saimin and loco moco and yes Portuguese sausage woohoo! Having all day breakfast selection is a great service though we were starving from the long journey to Vegas that I had the Cal Cheeseburger and mom the Loco Moco both huge patties are yummy though my fries were meh...saving the juice for later but all this was inclusive is a wonderful deal. Thank you!

Market Street Cafe at the California Hotel is particularly famous for its oxtail soup. The oxtail soup is so popular that customers often line up well before the 11:00 PM serving time, especially those using coupons books (coupon + $5) eager to enjoy this beloved dish. It's a testament to its deliciousness and the café's reputation for serving good comfort food. It's definitely a must-try if you're dining there and like oxtail. Enjoy my fellow Yelpers.
